Community Guidelines

TAMA exists to surface music made with intent and care. These guidelines keep it useful and kind.

Reviews

Write about the music: what it does, how it’s made, who it’s for. Be honest, be specific, be kind to people even when you are harsh on records. No harassment, hate, doxxing, or spoilers of personal information.

No paid, traded or self-promotional reviews. Artists may not review or recommend their own releases.

Recommendations

Recommend what you genuinely think others should hear. Coordinated voting, sock-puppet accounts and vote trading are removed and can lead to a ban.

Submissions

We publish releases that have a real artistic direction. We reject: music generated primarily by AI and presented as human-made; plagiarised or re-uploaded work; spam, mass uploads and keyword-stuffed metadata; releases without a public listening link.

Metadata must be accurate: artist name, title, date, label, credits. Use official links.

Wiki edits

Stick to verifiable facts and neutral language; cite official sources in the edit summary when you can. Contested claims are flagged “disputed” rather than silently deleted. Revision history is kept.

Reporting

Use the flag button on any review, release or artist page. Moderators review every report and act on it; rights holders can also use the takedown form.
